Urgh. That is one small, ugly, counter-intuitive map. And where's the sallelite imagery?

And to top it off, if I click on one of the 'find' categories directly above the map I go to a non-map search. Aside: When will people learn – right clicks are for context menus *only*.

Those maps are awful! What a rubbish product.

Yahoo "UK & Ireland" is pretty bad at the "Ireland" bit.

Try searching for "Dublin" (the capital of Ireland) and you get:

   Please choose from:

   * Dublin Street, Liverpool, L3 7
   * Dublin Street, Edinburgh, EH3 6
   *....(etc)....

The whole thing is basically a poor interface to Map24 (www.Map24.co.uk). Yahoo's poor offering is even less excusable, because Map24 is actually rather good (and handles Ireland no problem).
I wonder why Yahoo bothers to present sub-par tools like this when Google Maps or even Microsoft's maps are so much better.

Well done Yahoo!. Only two weeks after most of the world stopped being interested in what was happening in Germany.
