Finally a good explanation!
I'm not sure, I think there are two approaches here – slicing the original image, or using the original image as background image and using "sandbag" divs. If I understood it tright then the latter approach will save you time because you don't have to slice up anything. I should try it to know for sure because these are just assumptions. (E.g. I downloaded the example where text was flowing next to a woman, and in the downloaded files, there simply were no slices.) |
It's a great technique though, and just proves how useful CSS really is. :) |
