For every one of those to-dos where it says 'scanning' you should probably add 'more useful indexing'. An engine that can't tell the difference between informal conversation and a French cat is only of limited use.
Google has always used metadata with LinkRank, it's extended a little further with rel="nofollow". There is a lot more low-hanging fruit down that path, whether Google picks it before others do is another matter. |
