I just got invited by a friend and am excited about using gmail.

but, everytime i click on any email (sent or recived) – the message or conversation doesn't seem to appear. I see the orange "loading" sign in the top right corner but nothing results from it. Keyboard shortcuts and all else works.

I run Avant Browser (which is IE-based) but the same problem happens even with IE 6.0 alone.

any ideas?

How long do you have the problem already? Sometimes, Gmail has loading troubles, but after a while things are back to normal again...

Well, I have had the same problem since last night. I have rebooted and still the same problem. Gmail works on the other computer at my house so something is wrong with my settings but I dont know what it is.

If it's the setting why don't you delete your cookies, empty your cache, and if it still doesn't work – reset all options? Don't know, but that just might help...

I guess I am hopeless. Thanks for your help. I emailed Google to see what they knew.

You can't create a Gmail account at the moment. This is not yet public. Only beta-testers are allowed in and there aren't any new invites available.
