You could also try the "API" that Firefox 2 uses:
http://lxr.mozilla.org/seamonkey/source/browser/locales/en-US/searchplugins/
http://suggestqueries.google.com/complete/search?output=firefox&qu=icrosoft

You don't get the query data, but you do get spelling suggestions and a format that's a lot easier to parse from JavaScript. For comparison, Yahoo offers the same format at http://ff.search.yahoo.com/gossip?output=fxjson&command=icrosoft .
