I tried MoreGoogle but I found it bloated. It made the layout look bad too. |
absolutely, you can only see half the number of sites on one page, who would want a thumbnail of a page of A4 text what a load of rubbish!. Worst still, I have paid to use Hopster to enable me to use MSN through a proxy server and found there was no way to avoid having all these stupid lostgoggles gifs every time i used a search engine as it came as part of the Hopster package with no warning given. Now found that using Firefox rather than Internet Explorer stops it happening.... |
You shouldnt have to switch to another browser. I've stopped using Google. You would think that maybe Google would put out some advice of how to get rid of this hijacking.
I see a lot of positive comments about moregoogle out there, but I suspect that they are planted.
Good software is refusable software.
If anyone can figure out how to get rid of it, please contact me at winchrisertayahoo.com |
It's now called lostgoogles with an S.
google has contacted the author and asked him not to use their name.
To remove the program, go to your config panl/add&remove program. You'll get a list of all the programs installed. Find MoreGoogle and click on "remove".
Cheers.
