A nice interview with Matt. Unfortunately, the German reporter is annoying.

Interesting. When Matt is asked to name a few specific German web spammers, he's evasive but drops the names Mario Dolzer, Thomas Promnys and Jörg.

Matt also repeats (what probably most know) that Google intentionally doesn't have a good backlinks checker (i.e. their "links" operator) because some people could abuse this.

Matt is also asked which SEO he'd use if he wouldn't be working for Google, and he says Shari Thurow, calling her a white hat SEO who thinks a lot about usability and such things. But he adds he doesn't want to point to any particular person really.

And he talks about new video.google.com video uploading interface, which doesn't work all day.
Web uploader says "Sorry, we are temporarily unable to accept new video uploads. Please try again later or return to Google Video." (video.google.com/upload_down.h ...) and Uploaded Videos section receive generic 502 Server Error ("The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request."). I've listen to this interview about 7 hours ago and I still try to see the changes in the interface ;]

I prefer podcasts that don't sound like radio. I think radio talk style is annoying. I prefer human talk style :)
