Alex, When using a brand new computer (but the crap bundled on todays computers takes care of that doesn't it)

I'll use my CD/DVD with my favorite software or download them. The Pack thing is too limited and too Google-centric. And it doesn't have any use: most Google software has auto-update built-in.

Its quite smart by MSFT because with anti-trust rulings, MSFT need some way to put their products on their system, so the use of WL Essentials was a decent move by them.
