Hot linking to Picasa Web doesn't work right ?

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, so I always add the link for my album with the photo :(

It never works. If you see the picture, it's because it's in your cache.

You can, actually, for some resized photos.

Err, it doesn't.

Ionut – I opened up IE (I never use IE), copy and pasted the link for the image I posted above and it displayed without any issues. I know for a fact that IE cache did not have a copy of the above image.

Picasa Web Albums doesn't allow hotlinking of images. However, since copying and pasting the URL into a new browser isn't hotlinking, it will display correctly if you do that. (I always click through on these images and just remove the image name in the address bar. Oddly, that seems to work too.)
