I noticed that A9 made some changes. There is a summary dated September 29, 2006.

They changed the user interface. Among the changes It includes something they call "continuous scrolling", which automatically gets new results as you scroll near the end of the existing list. I haven't played with it much. I prefer more control, but I suspect it will appeal to many people.
They have also discontinued several services. |
Yep. The Block View imagery last a total of 20 months. Right now Microsoft is testing something similar. http://preview.local.live.com/
Also, if you're looking for some gorgeous street level imagery for major cities in France and Spain check this site. Wow! http://photos.pagesjaunes.fr/
and one of the services they discontinue is the search A9 and save money at Amazon.com.

Continuous Scrolling was part of Live.com since it's pre-Beta days (however it's been dropped now, atleast for some) |
Continuous Scrolling still works on Live if you use IE, but is not supported on most other browsers. |
<<Continuous Scrolling still works on Live if you use IE, but is not supported on most other browsers.>> Works in Firefox as well. (FF 1.5) |
Does it just work for Images (I just found out, it works for Images is you use IE7) or for Web Search too. |
