Yes, funnily enough I saw this just the other day. My browser's cache wasn't full though – but my Internet connection was just really poor.

Which made me wonder whether they do some kind of client-side speed tests to determine whether the application is behaving as it should do.

saw that a looooong time ago, when i first started with Gm...not since.

that notice popped when i was working on the computer where i work..

so thats probably why i saw it for the first time ..
