I knew Google had a Hacker (and Elmer Fudd/ Klingon) dialect, but I was surprised to see it on pages like the Google Toolbar:
http://toolbar1.google.com/intl/xx-hacker/install http://toolbar.google.com/intl/xx-hacker/
Elmer Fudd works for this one too, http://toolbar.google.com/intl/xx-elmer/
but it doesn't work for say, http://www.google.com/intl/xx-hacker/profile.html http://www.google.com/intl/xx-elmer/profile.html 404

They had more time back then... – 2003. |
It depends on which pages have been "translated" using the "Google in your Language" site. On Hacker so far 18% of Orkut has been translated from English. There are three categories for Gmail, all of which are 94% or above, so maybe we can have Gmail in "Hacker" soon! |
It believe some dialects are generated. So the script just works for all kinds of pages. |
