"Some changes, today, on Valleywag, in design, personnel, and mission. Obviously, there's a new design. Nick Douglas, editor since launch earlier this year, is leaving."

He made no friends, only enemies – brave blogger. |
I still don't understand why there were so many posts about Arrington:

I guess it was like a running gag to have an arch enemy. Fair and balanced, Valleywag was not... |
But ValleyWag is a web2.0 gossip column. This will not change, regardless if Nick is there or not.. if it changes, it wont be valleywag anymore!! Thats part of thier Gawker network!! |
Regardless of who they get to blog now, the new Valleywag design physically hurts me. It is atrocious. |
Their new font is hard to read for some characters, like commas, and really bad when used with italics. Other than that, the only thing decreasing readability are the new link colors, IMO. |
Douglas was a funny writer. Many of the other Gawker Media writers don't match up to him. |
rumor sez he's going to Podshow :)- |
