I have been using browser sync for a while...but it hasn't really done anything for me. It has made it impossible for me to change the settings in Firefox; for example, whenever I disable "Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar" it turns back on next time I open up Firefox.
Also, when I installed Browser Sync on another computer, my bookmarks and settings (and the inability to change them) from my other computer loaded, but when I went back to the original computer I had it on, the bookmarks from the other computer didn't transfer to it.
I really could use a tool like this-- any ideas as to why it isn't working properly? |
Does anybody else use Browser Sync or have similar or related problems with it? |
It happened to me one time that I have to uninstall Firefox, delete all the contents under "%appdata%MozillaFirefox" to fix it. You should backup some of the settings of course. |
I use Browser Sync all the time, but I've never had any problems with it. Yet, I only sync bookmarks for privacy reasons. |
Yeah, the bookmarks is what I'm having trouble with. Along with saving my firefox settings. If anything else is being dysfunctional, I haven't yet noticed it. |
