is it just me or the logo on PicasaWeb has been lowered for some reason?

Yeah, it used to be inline with the account links, but now it seems to be slightly different.

Perhaps to make it more obvious of the site's title?

The changes to the layout occured to make space for the Order Prints link and the search control – new features just released.

Order prints is now available, but but after a brief period, the search feature has apparently been withdrawn.
