I'm quite excited to find this one. BT's Digital Vault.

http://digitalvault.bt.com/

It includes 2GB of free storage, without hardly any ads. It seems to be quite reliable, as well. It will certainly do for me, while they are prepping GDrive.

I've written more info here...

Does not look very trustworthy to me. Don't know why exactly. Just my impression.

BT has always been trustworthy in my opinion

I think because it's not "Web 2.0" orientated, it will do better. This is a kind of thing that is expected from an ISP, rather than a search engine company.

Mozy is good enough for me for file backups.

I've been lured and enticed by those companies offering online storage as well. I have to admit I don't read EULA's as carefully as I should so I don't know about any privacy concerns there. I did sign up for both the AOL 5 g solution to have it "break" and become annoying at every boot and Mozy.

I guess I'm cozy with Mozy (sorry) which also offers free 2g and so far seamless backup. Backup on Digitalvault is a premium service. Their 20g premium service is also priced at 5 pounds/mo. Mozy's premium is 5 USD/mo and is advertised as being "unlimited" which, I think, is the magic word for everyone looking for a storage solution.

I wonder what others have tried and liked. I tried Omnidrive and liked it, but it does not boot up with my system and is a little frustrating to work with.

I have always been pretty happy with www.box.net or with http://dropboks.com/. Even the free version of box has a great interface and the ability to let others download a file from your account...Me likee

I recently started using http://www.mp3tunes.com/ (MP3 Tunes) which offers unlimited space for my music (I have 17GB) and it means I can listen to my music on any computer as well.

I don't know if I want to wait for a Google Drive to come out as the hype seems to have cooled and Google have announced they wouldn't release many more services just concentrate on improving their existing offerings. I am a bit worried about photos though as I only have them in one place and I need to back them up. Is Mozy recommended then?
