<<Hi Gmailers –
The purpose of this sub-group is to provide you with valuable information regarding technical issues that Gmail may be experiencing. Posts will be made by Gmail Alerts Manager, a Google employee, and will have as accurate and up-to-date information as possible. We know how important Gmail is to our users and want to ensure that you are fully informed in the event of a problem.>>

*Careful: Only Google is allowed to call you a Gmailer. You are not allowed to call yourself a Gmailer, because Gmail is a Google trademark, and as such....
<<One of the conditions for all uses is that you can't mess around with our marks. Only we get to do that. Don’t remove, distort or alter any element of a Google Brand Feature. That includes modifying a Google trademark, for example, through hyphenation, combination or abbreviation, such as: Googliscious, Googlyoogly, GaGooglemania.>> http://www.google.com/permissions/guidelines.html

Once my gmail home page is loaded, as soon as I try to change page, my computer hangs and I get the message "program not responding". When I use a different computer, I can use gmail without problem. The only difference I can see is that the other computer has the older version of Internet Explorer. Do I have to go back to the older version of IE to use Gmail? |
I forgot to mention that the problem may also be connected to my CDMA Sierra 580 air card. I use that to access internet in Phuket, Thailand and the service cuts off the internet very often, sometimes as often as every 3 minutes. The problem computer is configured to reconnect automatically where as the computer that has no problem to access gmail, has to be reconnected manually each time it the signal is cut. I have not yet found a way to alter the configuration to make the computer switch back to manual re connecting. Do you think it would do any good to contact Sierra. I have only problems with Gmail and no other problems with any other websites. Please help as I really need my gmail! |
