I liked the look of Vista, but didn't want to pay(prices are 65% higher in Ireland than in the US). Rather than using a Warez site or illegal Torrenting, I searched the web. I came across loads of cool software to make XP look like Vista. Heres what I've got now.
Note the new Exit, minimize buttons etc.
1. New alt-tab thingy gives screenshot
2. Vista Sidebar
3. Calendar pops-out if you click on the time
4. Screen-Shot when you hover over Taskbar
New Explorer Media Center
New Icons
Media Player 11

I would like some constructive criticism please.
If you want to download the package i made it can be downloaded from
Comes with helper File

I just went to my nearest retail store that sells pc's with Vista pre-installed. I found two that were on display with windows vista ultimate. THE CD KEYS ARE PRINTED RIGHT ON THE BACK! I copied them down and now i have free vista. All you have to do is download the beta and punch in the cd key that you got at the store. I'm not even using it though- i just got Ubuntu linux and i plan to use that. I might just give vista away

Nice. Can you also get the 3D effect?

Yes you can get the flip 3D effect with software known as TopDesk which is included in the package. Unfortunately it is a paid program ($20) and the software that comes with the package is just a 30 day free trial with an option to Upgrade. Everything else is free.

PS. DPic, where do you download the beta?
