I created a http://www.cyanbane.com small mini page app of a lake I fish with it in under about 30 mins of playing around with it, the API is pretty simple and still decently powerful. I wish we could get the smooth "zoomage" of Google Earth with it. But man what a nice present to developers. Now how will this API be utilized on the entrprise (maybe Pro) version of Google Earth I wonder?

I liked this tool enough, and watched people struggle with it I am starting to write a tool to make it even easier...
