Will you also try to geomap Google Videos as a next step in your application?
I blogged about it yesterday when Google Earth got launched (see http://media-tech.blogspot.com/2005/06/google-video-bientt-li-google-earth.html)
but ddin't have the tools as the map API appeared late yesterday.
I look forward to see GVideos on GMaps in you next version...

Are Google Videos geo-tagged somehow? |
It's not too bad. The only problem I had is being moved as I tried to center and zoom over the midwest. It kept pushing me to images that load elsewhere. Anyway, good implementation of the AJAX method of the Google API. I'm working on one myself.

Cool. It has a quirk. When an image pops up, if it's near the top, it will push the map down. Then, if there's another image now near the top, it will push the map down again, ad infinitum. I'd avoid popping up images if they are within image-height from the top, or suppress the push-down effect. |
