offering people to pay to use a search engine is not a healthy strategy...
MSFT have F#$%ed up again ..bad move..the buzz is aready heating up..!!

Well I don't see how this is any different from Google paying Dell to bundles it's services onto Dell's Computers.
I agree with Peter, Bad move... |
Sohil: One difference is that Google does not require its customers to remove MSIE, even it was for the good of them. |
Yes but Google is changing the search defaults in IE, is it not ? What other use if IE to Microsoft now ? |
Remove MSIE? But that's impossible. |
Ionut: Thanks to Prof Felden, we know that it's not.
However, you can stick to the metaphorical removal:

MSoft is MAKING users UNINSTALL Google Toolbar or IE7 Won't run.
If MSoft GOAL is to make it impossible for Google or Yahoo programs to run on Windows based PCs, that COULD BE THE END OF BOTH – G and Y.
But they have ONLY themselves to blame. ALL 3 have cut themselves off from their users.
Before you disagree, WHAT IS THE TELEPHONE NUMBER – WHERE YOU TALK TO A HUMAN ENGLISH SPEAKING PERSON FOR ALL 3 OF THEM? |

YOU CAN'T UNINSTALL Internet Explorer. YOUR computer won't run if you do.
HOW can Google force Windows Users to UNINSTALL IE?
Answer = They can't.
BUT, MSoft can force Google Toolbar users to uninstall it.
MSoft owns the world of PCs and – we can hate it, but it is a FACT. LVKen7gmail.com |
I emailed Microsoft and asked them for money in order to let me reconsider my usage of search engines. |
Actually you can "turn off" Internet Explorer from Windows XP for clarification.
Google has been agressively promoting Firefox (along with Google Toolbar). Like you said Ken you can't uninstall IE, so Google is promoting the alternatives. I'm not saying either is right or wrong.
