Romour said that Google want to strike back
on the PR linkbroker's and grap em' by the ball's.

Take away valuable information from the PR-toolbar
and make it even harder to use programs like
PRprowler, linkproctor, seospider ect
(dont they work together with the API)
analyze backlink strategi, linkpopularity options

Ok, you can use (ex. PROG) and find high rank site's
but determite "who is linking to whom"
and what will ticle big G, What is the hidden algo' :O)

What we know is that you have to be serius
with the theme, is it relevant to your content?

Second we know that "oneway link" is better than
RECIPROCAL link's, but how much count
High PR backlinks?
(even they are not listet in backlink lookup)

How can you count the exact
number of link pointing to your domain?

Their is a big difference in number's from machine
to machine and with different technic's as well

ex:
search term: your domain name
(link:http://www.site.com)
http://www.linkpopularity.com

You are right, Google doesn't show a lot of backlinks via their "link"-operator. This is to prevent reverse-engineering, but it's a bit sad – they would have the technology to make a lot of connections. As things go the best backlinks-checker is Technorati. Also:

http://www.technorati.com
http://www.feedster.com
http://www.daypop.com

http://www.yahoo.com (use link:http://blogoscoped.com , same result as in AltaVista)

I do not believe Google uses themes other than the actual link-text. But it might become important one day. If your backlinks come in natural there will be no need to worry about these things. Also, I never worry about outgoing links either, not to determine my ranking or PageRank at least – it should be a mere symptom of what we do, not the source of our motivation.

Once i've read that googleScript
(my name for the algo on google) includes back links that google spidered but are hiden in "link:" search, and read that pages with high pr are cut from "link:domain" search cut too.

So i allmost forgot about "link:domain" on google.

Ps. One usefull thought about geting live news about indexing of your sites:
Add to every site a word (fictional word)
and then subscribe to Google alerts with that word (web option) as google will index your pages you'll get an e-mail ^_^

Krzychu, please only post URLs if they are relevant to the discussion.
