Greetings from Google!

We want to thank you for your interest in the Google New York Speaker Series. We look forward to having you as our guest tomorrow evening, April 5, for Luiz Barroso's talk, "Watts, Faults, and Other Fascinating Dirty Words Computer Architects Can No Longer Afford to Ignore". Registration and an informal reception will begin at 6:30 PM, and Luiz's talk will begin shortly after 7:00 PM.

We still have room for more guests. If you know of anyone who might be interested but has not already received an invitation, please feel free to forward the invitation below. We want everyone who is interested in joining us to be able to do so.

Our office is located at 76 Ninth Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan, on the corner of 16th Street and Ninth Avenue. A Google representative will be on hand to greet you, provide you with a building badge, and direct you to the 4th or 8th floor.

How can the talk take place on two floors, you ask? Due to the overwhelming response from our last talk, we've decided to get creative with our space and resources, and will broadcast the presentation up from our Tech Talk space to our new Hemisphere's Cafe, which looks out over the city. Guests who arrive early will be directed to our Tech Talk space, and once we've reached capacity downstairs, we will begin sending guests upstairs to the Cafe. We will serve beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres in both locations. At the conclusion of the talk, Luiz will join all of our guests in the Cafe's for continued Q&A and mingling.

To get to Google New York, take the A/C/E or L subway to 14th Street, and exit near the intersection of W 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, head west on 14th Street towards Hudson Street, and make a right on Ninth Ave. Alternatively, the 1/2/3 subway lines and M11, M14, and M20 buses service the surrounding area. If you are driving, the closest parking lot is located in the building, accessible from 15th or 16th Street.

Should you have any further questions, please contact us at nyspeakerseries[put at-character here]google.com.

We look forward to meeting you tomorrow.

Best,
Your friends at Google New York
