I just noticed that the Google Reader Gadget now has a drop down menu to change the category of feeds being shown according to the tags you created. Before I had to have a separate Greader gadget for each set of feeds. I just got rid of the rest since now I can simply switch between my tags.

Is this new? or am I just now noticing it.

Yea, it seems relatively new. This was not there when Greader module was first launched.

I thought so too, but later I found out that I have never used the GReader gadget... What we did was only subscribed to individual feeds on Google IG. (at least that's what I think)

No, I did have the gadget, and that feature was not there at launch.

I think I've found out what's going on here.

They've always had the ability to switch to different tags. BUT, they've just reorganised it so it shows how many unread items there are – if there are none, it won't be bold.

They've also changed the title of the module from "Google Reader (Labs)", to "Google Reader – 100+" (depending on how many unread items there are)....

You guys are very perceptive. Yes, there was a gadget change, pushed yesterday and announced today:

Would you have announced it if we didn't spot it? ;-) I'd like to think so...

By the way, we are some items underlined and some aren't?

I wrote the blog post yesterday, but the changes to the gadget went out late enough that I though it was best to wait until today to post it.

As for the underlines, I've seen a few reports of this, but I can't reproduce it. Can you post a screenshot and your browser/OS specs?

Hi Mihai, here you are...

Running FF2 on XP-Sp2. Nothing wrong when using IE6, though. Hope this helps.
