Hi
I just wanted to share these screenshots of Google Search Result Pages produced one immediately after another: http://www.heebie.co.uk/1.png http://www.heebie.co.uk/2.png
First of all – since when were sponsored results yellow and not blue?
Secondly – it's interesting how the sponsored link results change. Organic lists stay the same – which is good, but the top ad goes and the ones on the right rearrange.
And on a completely unrelated note – why do you think Google has started placing their "Ads by Google" note at the bottom of Adsense blocks as an image? |
<< it's interesting how the sponsored link results change. >>
Keeping it random is pretty much a requirement for advertisers – it gives them a chance to be shown for the same query – they can't all be on the same page. |
OK – Thanks for the replies! And also a quick note to let you know that 'Photos' now appears in the top left of Google pages (alongside links to Google, Mail, Caledar and Docs & Spreadsheets). It just links to picasaweb.google.com |
