Sandy Kemsley says that she has proof that Google sells users’ mailing addresses:
<<There is only one place where my name is associated with the mailing address of my wine club, and that’s on Google AdSense. When I received this piece of postal spam at that address, I knew that the company that “does no evil” had *sold my name and address* to the the scumbags who sent it.>>>

Hmmm. I'm not sure that's proof, unless we have a way to know he's 100% right. He even says "*As far as I know*, that’s the only time that I’ve ever used that address" (my emphasis). |
...I guess more people should give it a try? :P |
Not possible to attribute as a sale. the Wine Address could have been lifted from the yellow pages for all we know.. how can you say its google ? |
{My spam alarms are going off for animalreserve's post} [Mine too, so I've deleted it – Tony]
what /pd says is true, and also she has a motive for lying as she gets money/press/attention etc. It's not definite proof without taking her (she's female, Philip ;)) word for it, which could quite easily be false.
