Hey I got a very basic question:

Why won't the Google network remember me even if I checked the "remember me" box?
That's really annoying.

I use Firefox. The browser remembers my ID and password but I got to double click on each field in order to sign it does not do so automatically like Yahoo!

Anyone hel pe me here please?

Are your cookies being deleted automatically every time you exit Firefox?

nope I live alone and got a pretty strong password

Also my Firefox setting says

(checked) Accept cookies from sites
keep them until they expire

The box below about auto deleting private data are NOT checked.

This is why it just seems weird to me

In Security I have checked "Remember Passwords for sites" and there is no exceptions

Yeah, check your cookie preferences under under option's "Privacy" tab. "Keep until" should be set to "they expire" and google.com (or anything that includes the domain) SHOULDN'T be on the exceptions list (which is available under "Exceptions" button)

ok Ludwik, I had google.com set in this exception for cookies managemen, i'll see if this works better

Does it happen also with IE?

Ok it works fine by deleting google.com from Privacy > Exception
