GMaps Sat view gone wonky

This is nothing new but Google Maps for New York City's Satellite view has gone a little more strange on me.

The aerial shots around Grand Central station is a mish-mash of shots taken from different angles. Normally, I would get one or two map tiles showing sat views of building from different angles but it's quite rampant now.

It could be that there's a recent refresh of the satellite shots and the maps tiles are slowly changing to the new data..
