I wonder how many people will read this post, think to themselves "hey, an intelligence explosion, sounds cool" for a second and then go on living their lives as if they had just read about an unexpected new feature of the iPhone or about a proposed movie plot.

It's not something peculiar about the mainstream news that causes them to ignore the topic. It's just that it's hard not to ignore facts that, if you _really_ thought about them, would imply that the way you think about your future is somewhat delusional and that, if you changed the way you think about the future, you might have to change the way you live. We much prefer news that reinforce our views and cause that warm, fuzzy "see, I'm right!" feeling inside.

This is not a movie plot, and neither is this blue-sky futurism. The events Eliezer talks about are events that might well take place within our lives, possibly within the next 15-25 years. This is your reality.

Don't worry, by now, compared with a ant, the world top computer or computer system. Or groups computers, are simple toys.

A dangrous Self evolve AI System must include the full Software and hardware supplier lines. Can get energy by itself. Can desing machine that can make machines.

Self evolve AI at Physics Level should be a huge system. Maybe heavy than earth.

Haha

Funny matter.
