Google Health Scrapbook?

Rumors are circulating that Google is preparing a kind of health info service (in addition to Google Co-op’s health-related results, apparently). From The Deal Blogs:

Users will be able to log in with their own account information and do things such as add a new medical provider, check their medical records or pay their bills.

The product would also provide information about hospitals such as the frequency that a hospital performs a specific type of procedure or which hospitals perform which procedures most often.

According to the article, Google’s Missy Krasner is involved in the Google Health Scrapbook project. She previously worked with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.

As TomHTML in the forum points out, “M Scrapbook” (a Google project name found by Tony Ruscoe a while ago) might mean “Medical Scrapbook.”
