Historical Google Pages

You can almost see the dust this Google notification from 2001 collected. In it, Google – who bought the Deja News Usenet archive around the time and turned it into “Google Groups” – informs users that “[a]s of December 1, 2001, Google will discontinue support for all my-deja.com email accounts.” To find a new email provider, Google suggests you do a search for free email account.
