Find Wikipedia Backlinks

Nice: Wikipedia has a special page where you can enter any domain (like “*.example.com”) to find Wikipedia pages linking to that domain. [Via Barry Schwartz.]

The Making of Google Calendar

Google’s Carl Sjogreen talked about how Google Calendar was developed, and Rakesh Agrawal was there to take notes. According to the notes, the original team consisted of 1 manager and 3 engineers. I was surprised to see they apparently used PHP+MySQL (definitely not your typical Google infrastructure).

Google Teams Up With Intuit

From a Google press release (edited for clarity):
