Useful AdSense?

“AdSense for content automatically crawls the content of your pages and delivers ads (you can choose both text or image ads) that are relevant to your audience and your site content – ads so well-matched, in fact, that your readers will actually find them useful.”
- Google, on their AdSense homepage

“I am a big fan of your games. Really like them...they are clean (some pictures are questionable), and fun and building brain function. But lately the ad for finding your perfect love soulmate is too much. Please remove it or I will have to discontinue playing.”
- Kim, in regards to GamesfortheBrain.com, which runs AdSense

It’s partly my own fault actually for allowing image ads to display at Games for the Brain (and you can’t just disable animations/ Flash if you want images to show). I used a filter before for perfectlover.us, for instance, but the new ads were showing for perfectlovercalculator.us... it’s almost impossible to keep up with excluding all unrelated stuff, especially if you take into consideration that different countries show different ads. Dating sites are also among the top ads displayed on this blog, by the way. How useful do you think AdSense ads are on the sites you visit?
