Google’s Eric Schmidt One Of Obama’s Economic Advisers

According to Hindu.com, which cites media reports, “US President-elect Barack Obama has appointed a 17-member high-level team of advisers including billionaire investor Warren Buffett and Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt to guide him in channelising the economy”. Already, Eric Schmidt had endorsed Obama, and also appeared in some of Obama’s campaign commercials.

Eric Schmidt claims that Obama was the “the founder of this idea” of basing the campaign and their tools on the internet “on a national level”, though I think one could name others before Obama, like Howard Dean in 2004.
