There is also a special iPhone version which loads from http://docs.google.com/m. It is view only but has a full HTML version of spreadsheets (not the single column thing) and lets you view presentations as well. |
so it looks like you can't edit yet, only view. That's a step in the right direction but I would really dig being able to edit docs on the road. I'd also like to be able to create spreadsheets and have a mobile frontend for them – some thing like a workout routine that only displays today's exercises and lets me input my results for the day. Soon. gg google. |
I stumbled upon it a few minutes ago by accident... It works quite nicely on the iPod Touch too, but in view only... |
good work. Google.
I would love a way to upload docs to Google from my mobile, too |
It would be great if Google could open these services to Google Apps users. I can't login with my Apps account and the same problem with Gmail mobile. |
Hmm, the url Etan mentioned is exactly same, maybe the application recognizes iPhone user agent. Any test results? |
Yes, there is a special iPhone version.
Google has special iPhone versions for (which auto-detect iPhone and change the mobile view): - Google homepage, - Gmail, - Calendar, - Photos and - Reader.
Conviently, iPhone webpages are perfect for the Firefox sidebar.

^^^ Yeah I use facebook in my sidebar ALL the time |
Yeah. It seems things are moving to the mobile user definitely.
Funny there's no download for docs, having it on xls files. It will be handy for my docs on the road, as I have texmaker (word). Having the download and upload functionality, I could wait for editing the docs online. RIght now I have to download the doc before leaving office (if I need the file afterwards, I'm stuck, like now) |
Its quite boring to access each and every column by clicking on its name. |
