Domain Count via Google

Today I wrote a domain count application; please note this application takes some minutes to process – if it takes too long it will just stop before the 260th result*. It uses the Google Web API to query a keyword for all top-level domains (like .com, .de, .biz, .net and so on). The result is an overview table listing the pages found for that URL; e.g. www.example.com, www.example.de. Also, you can see the top result (1st ranking) for the query.

... did you know that there’s a Google domain for South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands? (And it’s for sale, too, though I doubt this holds up in court.) Google Hungary is taken by a spammer as well, it seems. So is Google Estonia.

*I’m working on that.
