Yahoo Buzz

Yahoo’s Rasmus Lerdorf wrote a Yahoo Buzz news application. It shows images from different news stories. Hovering your mouse over the image will show a snippet from the article. You can also search the stories (like for “Google”).

The PHP5 source code to the application is available. It uses the Yahoo News API. Rasmus explains the details in his blog.

The Yahoo Developer Network Wiki, in the meantime, is seeing some large amounts of spam. You can help if you know how to revert pages like the Feature Requests back to their original version.
