Google Video Stops TV Transcripts

Google Video a year ago – their claim then was “Search recent TV programs online,” and the screens show a transcript with stills from 60 Minutes.

You probably noticed that the TV transcripts search results were missing from Google Video for a while now. Google says some users were unhappy they only could see still images for such results and wanted playable content only. But Google also states, “We continue to work with the owners of television content, and hope to make this an important part of Google Video in the future.” Gary Price at Search Engine Watch has more.
