Super Bowl Commercials on Google Video

Via Waxy, here are the Super Bowl XL Commercials at Google Video. (If you have problems viewing these, try the video downloader.) This MacGyver “priceless” spot is also fun.

The Wall Street Journal says Google is developing GBuy, a sort of PayPal rival:

“For the last nine months, Google has recruited online retailers to test GBuy, according to one person briefed on the service. GBuy will feature an icon posted alongside the paid-search ads of merchants, which Google hopes will tempt consumers to click on the ads, says this person. GBuy will also let consumers store their credit-card information on Google.”

Rumors of a “Google Wallet” program have been circulating for quite some time... Blocked in China?

KenWong in the forum says has been blocked in China:

“Now about 50% of AdSense users in China find their ads wont display.

I’ve removed all AdSense codes from my blog temporarily.”

Who else from China sees blocked?

Date 2.0

Here’s what really happened between Google’s Larry Page and Marissa Mayer. Sort of. [Thanks Brinke Guthrie.]
