Google’s Call-per-Click

Seth Godin spotted a new type of Google AdWords ad in the search results for Artisan Hotel. One of the ads Seth saw had a phone icon next to it. Seth says:

“Click on the green phone and an ajax window opens up. Type in your phone number (remembered after the first time) and the sponsor calls you!

Too bad it didn’t work. It probably will. When it does, it changes the game, again.”

(I couldn’t reproduce Seth’s result at this time.)
