Another Google Interface Experiment

One of Telendro’s readers spotted another Google interface prototype that’s apparently being shown to some users only. Next to the search box, you can see a combo box which allows you to select a time span to search in; you can select “anytime,” “past 3 months,” “past 6 months,” and “past year.”

Update This appears to be existing functionality available from the Advanced page. (Whether or not it’s also automatically triggered for some searches/ part of one of Google’s UI experiments is hard to tell.) [Thanks DPNeal.]
