Google Result Not Found?

Andreas Stuhlmüller* informed me that he received a “not found” message while searching for 1000000..10000000000 (that is, pages with any number in the range of 1,000,000 to 10,000,000,000). Then, after giving it a try with other number searches, Andreas was blocked due to Google preventing automated search attacks. I’m getting the first error too... what’s happening?

*Andreas is the 21-years old German behind Mindpicnic.

A Multi-author Search Blog

John Battelle of Searchblog (and FM Publishing) mixes Digg with a search blog... to come up with SearchMob. He explains, “The idea is simple – you can register and submit stories to the site. Then readers vote the stories up the ranks, similar to Digg, Reddit, and Newsvine.”
