WMW Updates Redirect Handling (Again)

Wow. Just yesterday I posted on how WebmasterWorld greatly improved the way they handle bot abuse, now allowing most searchers into the site, mentioning that the only remaining issue is that they’re not sending the correct “abuse” message to those IPs they suspect to be involved in malicious activity (they redirected to a registration page instead). Now WebmasterWorld’s Brett Tabke fixed that last remaining problem and redirects suspected requests to a special error page, which reads:

Error We’re sorry ... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer robot, spider, virus or spyware application coming from your ISP’s IP Range.

Kudos to Brett & WebmasterWorld!
