Using Gmail As Feed Reader

While I’m not using any traditional RSS reader, I do have a tracker script on my server which pulls certain feeds every 5 minutes. Whenever there’s a new post, the content of the post will be emailed to my Gmail account, which will then directly move it into a “tracker” folder (aka label) instead of leaving it in the inbox. (I’ve “subscribed” this way to just the official and semi-official Google blogs, which are also available on a feed reader-style page here, while other blogs I’m checking manually.)

(screenshot edited to just get the point across, I use more labels than shown...)

This same tracker folder also receives new alerts when other, non-RSS enabled parts at Google may change, like their press images page.

I bet I’m not the only one out there using Gmail as their feed reader... who else does this? If so which RSS-to-email service do you use, and do you have any tips to share? (Or do you use a Greasemonkey script integrating Gmail + feed reading?)
