Tool to Experiment With Google’s Ajax APIs

Google released the AJAX API Playground, a kind of interactive learning-by-doing for things like the Google Maps API, their Search API, or their Visualization API (also see Google’s blog post on this). You can select a sample of one of the various APIs from the left, view and edit the code, and then hit the Run button to see how it appears in the browser. If you log-in with your Google Account you can also save your code changes. It’s all very easy to use, and perhaps especially useful if you’re the type of developer who jumps straight to the examples section in a given tutorial to get your head around how something works.
