Google Translator and the Children From Hell

Frode Klevstul writes:

I’m getting married soon, and since my wife to be is Australian, and we live in Norway, we tend to use Google Translate now and then. Today I used it for translating the menu for our wedding. Then we discovered that we’re being served “Hell Children”. Never had that before, so we’re all quite excited to try it out in our wedding.

The menu in Norwegian:

Laks og hellebarn

Translated via Google Translate:

Salmon and hell children

Note: More correctly hellebarn should be translated with the english word halibut (ref: http://snl.no/hellebarn), but than again it sounds better serving hell children.

[Thanks Frode!]
