Google Project Hosting says "This site will be read-only from 12pm PDT to 3pm PDT today."
Any new features coming ?
I'd love so. Google has already simplified the life of many open source developpers, and I'd love them to implement a blend of SF.net and lanchpad.net, the Googley way

Because there is a post on googleblog which links to google code. Maybe they fear about defacers or something like that?
(Just as they've disabled comments on the youtube video which announce the launch of Youtube France)

I use Google Code hosting quite a bit and I would like to see support for spaces in Wiki pages, capitalised Project name, grouping of downloads. a better SVN browser (A Googler said they were looking at improving the SVN browser a while back) and multiple issue tracking lists (say, one for features, one for bugs).

This applies to the Project hosting. For example, see http://code.google.com/p/cmsdownloader/

It now says :This site is read-only due to network maintenance until 3pm PDT today.
Not a spam measure obviously.
