Saw this posted on TechCrunch and I had to share it.
"One day your computer will be a big ass table..."

Brilliant! (BTW, where did they get $10000?) ;-) |
I belive that's what Billy G. said it would cost.
Great parody. The whole concept of table surface computing seems pointless to me. In a wall, maybe ok. But a table? There are so many issues: a) The last thing I want to do is get back pain from sitting hunched over a table. Maybe MS are planning on launching Back Pain Defender as a free product and Back Pain OneCare, for a premium.
b) Where the hell is the leg room under the table? Restaurants like to cram as many people in as possible without it looking cramped. If there is no leg room under the table then more space per table will be required for customers legs meaning less tables per restaurant.
c) The restaurant must have serious amounts of spare cash and high-wage employees if buying 20+ $10k tables to replace a few employees makes financial sense.
I'm sorry. But Microsoft, you've got this all wrong. |
<<Brilliant! (BTW, where did they get $10000?) ;-)>> I meant where did they get the money |
Too cool Aren't we actually going away from humans & dealing more with computers :(
