Javascript Lightbox technique sucks. Yahoo has good js programmers. This is needed?
Google Onebox solution is much better |
i actually prefer the Google rendering for a number of reasons: 1. Google's page of result has a encyclopedic feel. Instead of a onebox result, I get a list of references from several video sources. On a search for [rammstein videos]The number of video sources are more varied: google video, youtube, dailymotion, videocure.com
2. Google ads are much more relevant than yahoos', even including a link to the Rammstein page on yahoo music. Google's ads are often just as relevant as organic results.
3. .Google's embedded solution is much less distracting than yahoo's. Google solution is actually part of the results, yahoo's opens a window for the player.
4. How can yahoo not have a link to a single youtube video. This is a minus, not a plus, since youtube has the most videos online, and is the most popular video site. That's much more relevant than link to yahoo's commercial music site.

You can enter just "rammstein" in Yahoo and get the exact same results. |
