Hrmm. Same here, 20 out of 60. Those questions are often impossible trivia! :)
<<ANALYSIS: Yikes, you've got a lot to learn. Don't quit your current job.>> |
Which ones did you get? I got Q2 and Q3 right |
what! I got the same thing. 20 out of 60. :( |
I got 40/60, but the quiz is lame. |
Your final score: 50 out of 60 ANALYSIS: You've got the basics, but you're not ready to be a Noogler yet.
And I promise I didn't revise or cheat. I got Q1 wrong. |
I was interested to discover that Googlers have to pay $30/hour for their massages, when so much else is free. |
Roger, I would have thought they were free too until I read this:
<< At first it was free, but I was booked 6 months in advance. It was hard for the new people to get an appointment. So, they instituted a co-pay and it slowed it down for a very short time, but that didn’t last long. >>

I got 30/60 First 3 right – last three wrong |
I got 50/60. I believe the first question is actually wrong these days. I could have sworn there are about 15 cafes now.
Disclaimer: I actually spent a year working at the main Googleplex.

60/60
Colin: What did you do there? |
If my Google-fu is working,
"[Colin] work[ed] on the Partner Solutions team at Google...", specifically on Googlebase, is that right Colin? |
Reto,
I worked on a few services: Google Base, Google Scholar and some minor work with Maps. |
Colin, what is the purpose of google base
I mean, googles mission is to organise the worlds info, but Base just seams a way of doing it very slap-dash until something better comes out. |
James, Its a giant database of anything you could put in a database. I was never informed of its main goal or what might happen with it in the future. But I think its a good step in the right direction when it comes to being able to store random things in a database.
Google was testing Base results in the main Google index but I haven't seen anything like that in a while (more than a few months). I played around with Base by storing Genealogy data in it. It was interesting to be able to pull down specific people based off of what year they were born, what last name they had, showing only males or females or both... etc. It was a great way of digging deeper into my data. |
